Claydate: Planters & Propagations!

  • Drawing Room 247 West 30th Street, 9R New York, NY, 10001 United States (map)

A playdate, with clay.

A two-part Claydate!!! We’ll make planters for our favorite plants…then we’ll (optionally) meet up in a few weeks to trade propagations and plant them into our OWN PLANTERS (how freaking cool is that). We can see how everyone’s pieces turned out, catch up, and share a very special day swapping precious baby plants!

You will have the option to paint your piece (9 different ceramic paints and 4 different glaze colors to choose from). Instruction, materials, 2 kiln firings, hand-glazing services, drinks, & snacks all included; great to come to solo or with friends. Beginners encouraged!

All finished pieces are food-safe, microwave-safe, and even oven-safe! Instruction by Aubrey Aiese.

$129 per person (limited discounted early bird tickets available at $117)

Limited spots!

(The second gathering – the propagation swap – is totally optional; you can pick up your pieces separately, if preferred and use your included Open Hour pass at a date of your choosing. The date of the second gathering (should you choose to attend) is Wed, June 26th @ 8-10pm.

Plants that propagate well/quickly include pothos, monstera, philodendrons. We’ll also have some baby pothos propagations if you forget or don’t have any to trade, as well as potting soil. )

    • Variety of shared tools
