Swap your clothes with other members of the Drawing Room community, then upcycle them! You can choose to participate in just the swap ($10-20 sliding scale) or ALSO participate in our upcycling stations!
We’ll have stations for:
Swapping clothes
Fabric block printing (with pre-made stamps). Fabric ink and brayers (with guidance and demo) available, with several ink colors!
Embellishing with embroidery thread
All materials and tools needed for upcycling will be included. Bring any pieces you’d like to upcycle and give new life to, AND/OR that you’d like to swap with the community!
Tickets are SLIDING SCALE $10-$45, depending on your participation.
How it works:
Each person will get a ticket for each swapped item (1 ticket = 1 swap item)
You’ll get to trade in your tickets for the items you swap. So, if you bring 3 items, you can take up to 3 pieces from the swap table.
If you choose a ticket that includes upcycling, you’ll receive a wristband that allows you to sit at/use materials from our upcycling stations. Otherwise, if you choose a SWAP-ONLY ticket, you are welcome to hang out, but table space and seats are reserved for those that have wristbands.
Drawing Room will donate whatever is left :)
We’ll have blank tote bags for purchase ($3) that you can decorate as well!
