Make charm jewelry! With clay! In this fun offshoot of our original Claydate, we focus on making jewelry with hand-built ceramic charms – how sweet? First, we’ll learn various ways to sculpt and paint the charms of our dreams with clay and available tools. Then, during the second part of the workshop, we’ll lay out those charms however you’d like – on necklace chains, earrings, etc. alongside other bits and bobs and beads that we’ll supply.
We kiln fire the charms for you (twice!), and assemble your jewelry for pickup a few weeks later! Great to come to solo or with friends. Beginners encouraged!! Instruction (and examples below) by Aubrey Aiese.
