Drawing Room is expanding!

It’s finally happening – we’re expanding into Brooklyn!

THANK YOU to everyone who has already come by in Manhattan: you’ve helped shape Drawing Room from the ground up, and we could not have done this without you. Manhattan remains our first and active home for us and we have no plans to leave!! That said, we can’t wait to continue building with our incredible community in Williamsburg too…

Summer 2025 Cohort Program runs May - June. Orientation takes place a few days before our official opening – get in before anyone else!

If you’ve already signed up for the Summer 2025 Cohort Program in Manhattan and want to switch to the Brooklyn location, please email us at info@nycdrawingroom.com to complete a new workshop selection form!

[NEW!] Ceramic Intensive

Our very first ceramic intensive – “Clay in Practice” with Aubrey Aiese – runs May 14th through June 18th. We’re expecting this to sell out, so don’t wait to enroll!

Our volunteers are such an important part of what we do, and they make what we do possible!

We want to feature your art at Drawing Room! Submit a picture of your artwork to be considered, and we’d love to display it in our space for our community to enjoy!

FAQs

  • Each Cohort will take place in each location, which means your workshop selections will be location-specific and will take place at the location of your Cohort. However, the memberships that are a part of your Cohort participation is valid at both locations.

    Reschedules for equivalent classes at the other location are possible, based on availability.

  • Thanks for being a member at Drawing Room! You got in on the ground level.

    Your membership remains valid and unchanged until the new plans take effect May 10th. Read about what changes will take place. Please reach out to info@nycdrawingroom.com with any questions in the meantime. More communications to come shortly!

  • We’re hard at work setting up the new space now and will be open for the first day of Open Hours on May 10th! Check out our launch events coming up, and we’ll see you soon!

  • Yes, the early bird catches the worm – reach out to us at info@nycdrawingroom.com to get set up.

  • Some journeys, like the Ceramic Intensive, can currently only be held in the Brooklyn location due to the limitations of the setup of the space. We hope to be able to offer all journeys at both locations soon, and this is the ultimate (longer term) goal! Stay tuned.
